Recent Trends in Information Technology

Dr. P.G. Naik is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Studies at CSIBER, Kolhapur. Her academic credentials are distinctly different. She has completed M.Sc. in Physics with specialisation in Solid State Physics and M.Sc. in Mathematics with topology and differential geometry as areas of specialization from Kamataka University, Dharwad and secured a top rank in the university merit list. She has completed Ph.D. in Some Electronic Properties of Low Dimensional Semi - conducting structures under UGC major project for which she was awarded a fellowship. She has over 20 research papers in various international and national journals and symposia to her credit. She bears a varied and rich experience in the field of computer programming. Since last 20 years, she has been associated with various graduation, Post Graduate Diploma and Post Graduate programs in computer science as a teaching faculty. Currently, she is working in thrust areas of computer science such as Web Technologies, Soft Computing and Internet Security. She has immense experience in guiding academic projects with computer aided tools. She has guided many industrial projects in project management, core banking solutions and e-Learning solutions. She has conducted and organised seminars and workshops on various cutting-edge technologies in computer science at university level. She is a prolific technical writer with excellent communication, analytical and technical skills.

Dr. R.S. Kamath is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Studies, CSIBER, Kolhapur, India. She did her Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science specialised in Computer Based Visualization from Shivaji University and completed the same in 2011. Dr. Kamath has to her credit 15 research papers published in reputed national and international journals and author of one book "A Monograph on Spatially and Temporally Efficient Visualization Algorithms for Manufacturing Industries" (Germany, LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing, 2012). Her current research interests are Virtual Reality, Soft Computing, and Data Mining. She has immense skill of around eleven years in teaching and research.

Dr. R.V. Kulkarni - is working as Professor and Head, Department of Computer Studies, CSIBER, Kolhapur. He has published 60 papers in national and international journals. He has successfully guided 10 students for Ph.D. and 40 students for M.Phil, in Computer Studies. Dr. Kulkarni is also IT advisor for many co-operative banks and sugar industries in and around Kolhapur. He has to his credit UGC projects. Dr. Kulkarni has published four books in the field of Expert Systems and MIS. He has immense skill of teaching and research for almost 34 years.
