We have pleasure in placing before the students and the teachers our book on ADVANCED ACCOUNTING which is a subject for study in the elective group ACCOUNTING AND TAXATION, For V semester of Bangalore University. The book is written strictly in accordance with the syllabus of Bangalore University. However, the book should be of use to the students of other universities also , wherever the topics discussed in this book are prescribed for study.
Plenty of graded illustrations and exercises are given in every chapter. Most of the illustratons are solutions to problems given in other universities as also in professional Examinations like the Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries and Cost Accountants, have also been solved. Wherever possible the Accounting year has been changed so as to end it on March which is mandatory today for Income-Tax assessment purposes.
