Amit Kumar Nag is a professor at the BSSS Institute of Advanced Studies (BSSS IAS). He has done his doctorate in finance and has 21 years of experience in the field of higher education. Presently, he is the Chairperson of International Collaborations, Research and Consultancy at the BSSS Institute of Advanced Studies (BSSS IAS). He was the former Head of the Department of Commerce at the Bhopal School of Social Sciences and has also served in the capacity of Controller of Examinations and Centre Superintendent (Exams) at BSSS for a period of more than 10 years. He acted as the Director for MBA-Twinning programme in relation to Assumption University of Thailand, alongside being the In-charge of International Programmes at the Bhopal School of Social Sciences. He is also a Visiting Faculty for MBA (Professional), Digital Track, Fast Track, and Hospitality and Tourism Management at Assumption University of Thailand. He is a life member of the Indian Accounting Association. He is actively involved in research, particularly in the fields of accounting, finance, and taxation. He has published more than 60 research papers in various journals of National and International repute. A good number of his research papers are indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and ABDC-indexed journals. He has presented his research work at more than 30 National and International conferences, been invited as a subject expert, and chaired sessions at National and International-level conferences. He is also the author of two books on finance. He is a master trainer for various statistical software such as SmartPLS-4, Eviews, Jamovi, G*Power, AMOS, SPSS, and R programming. He was a member of the Central Board of Studies, M.P. Higher Education.
He continues to play a significant role in various autonomous colleges, where he actively represents himself as a member of the Board of Studies.
