Dr. Anjali G. Mangesh holds a Post-Graduate degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science, Hislop College, Nagpur. Her ICSSR sponsored grant facilitated her field work in the Narmada valley for her doctoral degree on the topic – "Democracy and Development in India with Reference to Narmada Dam". She also had a brief teaching stint in Maharshi Dayanand College, Parel, Mumbai. She has authored books on an array of subjects such as Political Theory and Thinkers, Indian and Comparative Government and Politics and International Relations. She has worked on UGC sponsored research projects and has number of research papers in National and International journals to her credit. She is an invited guest speaker on contemporary political issues and her views as a political analyst are solicited in leading newspapers.
