Dr. A.K. Vasudeva Chary, M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D. is Professor of Economics (Retired), Department of Economics, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He served as Chairman Board of Studies, Head at Department of Economics, Osmania University and Dean for Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, T.S. He taught Macro Economics, Indian Economy and Industrial Economics at P.G. level and guiding the research scholars in Economics for their M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees. His papers are published extensively in various academic journals in India and abroad. He published about 45 articles in various journals of national and international repute. He was the author of eight books. He is the author of "Problem of Prospects of Coal Industry in India" published by Mittal Publishers, New Delhi. He completed one major and one minor research project.
