Dr. Animesh Karn is an Assistant Professor of Quantitative Economics at Amity University, Jharkhand, with over 21 years of teaching experience. He has previously held academic positions at institutions such as the ICFAI School of Marketing Studies, Hyderabad; Usha Martin Academy, Chandigarh; and St. Xavier’s College, Patna. An alumnus of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, he specialises in econometrics and quantitative methods, with extensive research contributions in the fields of education, gender, and health economics. He has authored several books on mathematical economics, managerial economics, public policy, and the Indian economy. A strong proponent of integrating technology into education, Animesh is committed to equipping students with skills in open-source tools like R, Python, and LaTeX.
