Dr. Asha R. Gupta is a counselor at Lala Lajpatrai College and Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management, since the last 14 years. She has always been a passionate advocate of Women Economic Empowerment and this led her to undertake an in-depth study of relationship between Entrepreneurship and Women Economic Empowerment. Her thesis on this subject was submitted to Mumbai University and having accepted the University conferred her the Ph.D. The published book is an abridged version of her thesis.
