Dr. Deba Ranjan Hota, M.A., M.Phil., P.G. Diploma in Human Rights Law (NLSIU, Bangalore), Ph.D. (Sociology) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. He is an Academic and Researcher having more than one decade of experience in teaching and research. Presently, he is working in IMPRESS Project sponsored by ICSSR at Institute of Law, NIRMA University, Ahmedabad. He is actively involved and contributed as a resource person for various research projects, symposium seminars, workshops and conferences at various universities and institutions. He is also an active member of various committees and boards in different organizations. He is also serving member of ethics committee for research at Kadi University. He has worked as a Visiting Faculty and Examiner at Central University of Gujarat. He has authored one book titled Informal Workers in the Interstices of Formal Sector: Dynamics and Dilemmas. He has also published several articles in books and reputed journals in the field of Labour Studies, Tribal Studies and Human Rights.
