Dr. Deepak Tandon is a Professor in Finance at the Lai Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Dwarka, New Delhi and is having 32 years of work experience (Academic plus Industry). He has taught at all leading B-schools in Mumbai, Delhi / NCR, in recent years and has worked at Punjab National Bank, Vysya BankLtd., J&K Bank Ltd., etc.). He is Ph.D., M.Sc, LL.B., C.A.I.I.B, MBA (Finance)-FMS. He possesses additional qualifications such as Bachelor of Laws (Delhi University), Diploma in International Trade - Exports Management (Bangalore). In addition he has been awarded Ph.d. in Management-Finance & Banking from the International University of Contemporary Studies Washington D.C., U.S. He teaches all finance electives such as Corporate Taxation, Corporate Risk Management, International Finance & Treasury Management, Investment Analysis & Portfolio management, Risk Management in Banks etc. He has authored well over 81 research papers, duly published in leading International & National Finance Journals / Periodicals. He has been a Chairperson / Keynote speaker at various International / National Conferences. He has also authored 4 books in areas of Banking - Forex Management / Strategic Management, Retail Banking and Indian Banking. Dr. Tandon has received two Awards and a Gold Medal termed ‘Jewel of India Award’ and ‘VidyaGaurav Gold Medal Award’ from Indian Solidarity Council New Delhi and International Institute of Education & Management Mumbai respectively.
