Dr. Dora Thompson works as an Assistant Professor & HOD, Department of Humanities, Priyadarshini College of Engineering. She has completed her post-graduate degree in English Literature from RTMN University. She received her doctorate degree in the year 2012 and the topic of her research was "The Poeticity of Andrew Motion: A Critique in New Historicism". She also did her MBA through Indira Gandhi National Open University with specialization in HR. She has presented various research papers at conferences and written papers in refereed journals at national and international levels. She has been instrumental in the formation of syllabus for the 6th Sem Engineering students of RTMN University along with other experts. She has been part of the university sub-committee for upgradation of syllabus for Communication Skills. Presently, she heads Department of Humanities, Priyadarshini College of Engineering.
