Dr. Gayatri Biswal, the author of the book has obtained Ph.D. Degree in Home Science from Utkal University in the year 2000. She is in teaching profession since last 28 years. She has guided P.G., M.Phil. and Ph.D. students in addition to her involvement in the field of Home Science activities. She has written many books and has published many papers in journal of National and International repute. Her contribution in preparing syllabus for undergraduate, postgraduate and M.Phil. students in Home Science has earned reputation for her. At present, she is an Associate Professor and Head, Department of Home Science, Rama Devi Womens University, Bhubaneswar, India.
