Dr. Jyotirmayee Nayak holds MA in Political Science, M.Ed., and a Ph.D. in Education from Utkal University, Orissa. She later earned MA in History from Mumbai University (Maharashtra) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Additionally, she has obtained the NET qualification from the Government of India to enhance her effectiveness as a teacher trainer. In pursuit of further expertise, she completed MA in Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from IGNOU, aiming to combine her roles as both a teacher trainer and counsellor. The author specialises in Education, Political Science, History, Psychology, and Counselling, and provides guidance for M.Phil., M.Ed., and MA in Education students. With 25 years of teaching experience, she served as Principal (in-charge) at Sterling College of Education and Research, Nerul, from 2006 to 2010 and currently, she is an Assistant Professor at MCT’s College of Education and Research in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, a position she has held since 2017.
