Dr. Khushal M. Kapadiya obtained his Ph.D. from Saurashtra University, Rajkot, India, in 2016.
He is an Associate Professor at R. K. University, Rajkot, India. His Ph.D. thesis focused on nitrogen-rich scaffolds, and he had expertise in creating hybrid scaffolds with linkers for medicinal chemistry lead identification. He reviews journals from reputed publications house such as Bentham Science, Wiley, Nature, MDPI etc. He has written 70+ research articles and 8 books for National and International publishers. He was awarded Basic Scientific Research Fellowship during his Ph.D. and qualified GSET-2023 examination. Five of his students earned doctorates, while six are pursuing Ph.Ds. SERB-DST, India financed his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Cardiff University, UK. He has two patents on heterocyclic chemistry, particularly nucleotides and anti-cancer properties. Dr. Kapadiya is skilled in organic synthesis, separation, purification, and characterisation using TLC, column chromatography, FT-IR, MS, NMR, and 2D spectroscopy. He researched on catalyst-based reactions and organic reactions and mechanisms for nucleosides.
