Dr. Mrs. Alka Suresh Gudadhe, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., (B.Ed.) working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics at Govt. Vidarbha Institute of Science & Humanities, Amravati. She received her Ph.D. Degree in 1993 from Nagpur University. She is recognized research supervisor in S.G.B. Amravati University, Amravati and M.Phil. supervisor for Allgappa University, Karaikudi, Chennai. She has 12 years teaching experience in junior college and 16 years in senior college. She has published 82 research papers in International / National Journals and four students awarded Ph.D. under her guidance. She has completed three Minor Research Projects and one Major Research Project ongoing funded by UGC. She is Managing Editor of the journal named "Vidarbha Journal of Science", which has ISSN: 0973-8932, Published by Mathematics Department. She is a member of Board of Studies for S.G.B. Amravati University, Amravati and got  "Fule-Ambedkar Research Award in 2005-06 given by the institute. She is Author of "Geometry Textbook for 10th class", published by Maharashtra State Education Board, Pune in 1995, implemented from 1995-2007 and Maharashtra State "Algebra Textbook for 10th Class", published by Education Board, Pune in 2006, implemented from 2007 onwards.
