Dr. Panchshiela V. Mahale is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Sathaye College, Mumbai University. She has been an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College for Women (Delhi University). She was associated with Moti Lal Nehru College of Delhi University as an Assistant Professor. The Critical Appreciation of Songs of Soul and Soil is her first book in the English literary world. Her first short story Chimera (2015) appears in International Journal of English Language, Literature and Humanities. Currently, she is occupied with the writing of a collection of short stories in English.
