Dr. Perumallapally Suresh

Dr. Perumallapally Suresh is Doctorate in the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology from Osmania University. He is also a holder of P.G. Diplomas in Museology, Archival Science and Manuscriptology and Culture and Heritage Tourism. He has contributed number of research papers in national and international conferences on History, Culture and Museum Studies etc., He authored books Salar Jung-III Cultural Contribution, Museum Guide Book of Dr. A.C. Hankins A.P. Police Museum, Salar Jung Museum: History, Antiquities and Art, Care and Conservation of Manuscript. At present, he is busy with his ongoing works entitled History of Indian Arms and Armour. He is in the research field for the past 14 years and actively participated in Restoration, Preservation and Conservation of Manuscripts, Arms and Armour. He is one of the contributors in establishing Quran Gallery in Chowmahalla Palace, Dr. A.C. Hankins A.P. Police Museum, Hyderabad, Mini Museum of A.P. Prisons, Chenchalguda at Hyderabad, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum, Pune and Heritage Jail Museum, Sangareddy (Telangana) installation respectively. He worked with the Institutions of Vision of Osmania, Osmania University; Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad; Deccan Art Foundation, Hyderabad; works carried on Renovation, Restoration and Conservation. As of now, he is collecting data on "Museum as Tool for the Promotion of Tourism in Telangana — A Critical Study" for his Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
