Dr. R. Nageswar Rao is a Professor of Finance in the Department of Business Management, Osmania University and presently holding the responsibility of Chairman, Board of Studies in the Department of Business Management, Osmania University. Dr. Rao has completed his MBA with specialization of finance from Osmania University. After completion of MBA he worked as Programming Officer (EDP) in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Mumbai. In the year 1989, he joined as lecturer in the Department. of Business Management, Osmania University, Hyderabad and completed his Ph.D. in the area of Finance on the topic of "Financial Viability of State Road Transport Undertakings". He also completed Diploma in Computers in Office Management (DCO) from IGNOU. He has undertaken foreign assignments at UAE, Sultanate of Oman, Sri Lanka and UK in the field of Management Education. He published several articles of repute, participated in number of seminars to his credit and wrote three books for PGRRCDE, Osmania University. He served Osmania University at various levels such as Additional Chief Warden, Director, Directorate of Admissions, Controller of Examinations, Co-convener, ICET-2007, Camp Officer for online admissions, Osmania University and member in several committees and academic bodies.
