Dr. Rashmi Soni is a distinguished academician with over 24 years of expertise in management education, training, and research. A Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), an alumnus of IIM Indore, and a Ph.D. holder in Finance, she currently serves as Professor and Area Chairperson for Finance and Law at K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai.
Renowned for her academic contributions, Dr. Soni has published extensively in prestigious journals was honoured with the Best Research Paper award. Her expertise encompasses corporate finance, financial statement analysis, corporate valuation, green finance, and sustainable development. She has designed and delivered impactful corporate training programs on cost control, budgeting, and financial acumen. As a Ph.D. guide at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, she has successfully mentored several scholars in their doctoral research. Additionally, Dr. Soni is a visiting professor at Pokhara University, Nepal, and serves as an external member of POSH committees for corporates.
