Dr. Rohini Kashikar Sudhakar

Dr. Rohini Kashikar Sudhakar is Master of Social Work, M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Pune University. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Continuing and Adult Education and Extension Work, SNDT Women`s University, Mumbai. She has been actively involved in teaching, research and extension work. Dr. Rohini Kashikar Sudhakar has co-authored various research studies and research projects commissioned by Government of India. These research studies were mainly related to evaluation of literacy programs of the Government of India viz., literacy, post literacy, continuing education programs and institutions working for literacy like Jana Shikshan Sansthans and State Resource Centres. In addition to this, she has authored studies related to training needs assessment, rural child labor, women and their organizations, youth in the slums, health care needs of the senior citizens, HIV/AIDS, etc. She is a member of NGOs working for senior citizens and women. Dr. Rohini has been involved in carrying out a large number of community based courses in collaboration with other departments, colleges and NGOs.
