Dr. S. Gopinadhan, is the Head, Department of Commerce, S. S. & L. S. Patkar College, Mumbai, having 30 years of teaching experience. He has done his Doctorate in the area of “Small Scale Industries - Development and Growth”. He also holds a postgraduate degree (MIB) in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) as well as an MBA degree in Human Resource Management from Tilak Maharashtra University, Pune. He is also a visiting faculty to number of management institutes in Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, etc. He has authored ten textbooks in different functional areas of Management. He has been a founder editor of the Management Education Magazine titled, “New Millennium Manager”. He is a well known Social Activist and is associated with a number of national level NGOs. He has also presented many research papers in national and international conferences. Presently, he is engaged in research in the area of Happiness Economics and Impact of Financial Meltdown on Developing Countries.
