Dr. Shiva Chandrashekhar Aithal graduated from Marathwada University (Presently known as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University), Aurangabad in 1991 and received his Master's degree in Microbiology from the same university in 1993. He did his doctoral in Microbiology in the applied area of "Ethanol Production" to receive a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. Dr Aithal is serving as a Professor in Microbiology at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels since 1993 in Dnyanopasak Shikshan Mandal's College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Parbhani (M.S.). He is a recognized University Research Guide and PG teacher who has guided numerous students at the postgraduate level in various fields of research. Presently, he is guiding research scholars to pursue their doctorate degree and extending his research in enzymes and fementation technology. Dr. Aithal has participated in many National and International level Conferences and seminars. He has to his credit several research articles published in reputed Journals and Symposia along with the publication of 10 books.
