Dr. Sumeet Suseelan holds Doctorate in Aviation Management from the Vishwakarma Open University, New Delhi. He is the Group Chairman of International Institute of Aviation Pvt. Ltd. His main area of interest is training students in Aviation Management. He first started his career as a ground personnel with Air Deccan and from thereon he served as a flight steward. He became the first Indian to be selected as Flight Steward for one of the worlds best airlines, Air Asia. Gaining from all these experiences over the years, he first started the International Institute of Aviation (IIA) in Bhilai, with a motive to provide well-trained manpower to the Aviation sector. His achievements also include Bharat Jyoti Award in 2015, the Mahatma Gandhi Gaurav Samman in 2016, Asia Pacific Excellence Award in 2017, Edupreneur of the Year, Dubai 2018, India Leadership Award 2018 and the Yuva Pratibha in 2005.
