Dr. Trupti P. Sawant is a passionate educator with a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, awarded in 2023. Her research focuses on the isolation, identification, and characterization of bioactive compounds from selected medicinal plants. Dr. Sawant has contributed significantly to the scientific community, with publications in several peer-reviewed journals and books, including "Phytochemicals: Extraction, Separation and Analysis" and "Understanding Cancer".

Dr. Sawant's commitment to advancing chemical science is further demonstrated by her selection to represent India at the prestigious American Chemical Society (ACS) LEADS conference in Washington, D.C., in 2022. She has also been awarded travel grants to attend ACS meetings in San Francisco (2023) and Denver (2024). Additionally, she serves as a reviewer for Phytochemistry Reviews at Springer Nature.
