Dr. Vijay R. Salunkhe, M.Pharm. Ph.D. has completed his graduation from Government College of Pharmacy, Karad Dist-Satara (MS) M.Pharm. from Bharati Vidyapeeths Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune(MS). He has completed Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Shivaji University, Kolhapur (MS). He worked as Lecturer in Pharmacy at Government College of Pharmacy, Karad, Dist-Satara (MS). He also worked as in- charge Principal at Ashokarao Mane College of Pharmacy, Peth-Vadgaon Dist-Kolhapur (MS). Presently he is working as a Professor and HOD of pharmacognosy department, Rajarambapu college of Pharmacy, Kasegaon. District-Sangli. Maharashtra. He is author of Pharmacy books.
Dr. Salunkhe fetched successfully the grant by AICTE, New Delhi through MODROB, AQIS for development of institute. Also received grant for seminar by ICMR, DBT New Delhi, research grant from Shivaji University for minor research project. His major fields are Herbal drug formulations, Standardisation, Phytochemistry and Quality assurance in phytopharmaceuticals. He has attended several seminar/symposium/workshop at various institute and organisations. He has presented several research papers in various symposium and conference and has published number of quality research papers and review articles in different national and international journals. He has achieved national and International awards.
Dr. Salunkhe is a post graduate teacher and Ph.D. Guide in pharmacy in Shivaji University Kolhapur. He is member of Staff Selection Committee and Local Inspection Committee in Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He has 27 years of total experience in teaching at UG level in pharmacy including 17 years of experience at P.G. level. He guided 50 students of M.Pharm and 08 students of Ph.D. in Pharmacy. He is an examiner and moderator for the subject pharmacognosy and phytochemistry, Herbal drug technology, Quality assurance. He has worked as Coordinator of National Board of Accreditation and other statutory and non statutory committees at the same institute. He is a member of Board of Study, Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
