Dr. Dulcinea Correa Rodrigues is a well known social worker especially interested in womens uplift. She has traveled widely in the East amd the West, participating in significant international conferences such as the first U.N. International Womans Year Conference held in Mexico City in 1975. She has had a brilliant academic career which includes a First class with English honours in the B.A. Examination of Bombay University and the coveted Ellis Scholarship for standing first in English. The B. Education degree was obtained with a first class and distinction while the Ph.D. degree, also from Bombay University was acclaimed as being on very valuable research. Presently she is an Honorary Fellow of the Her as Institute of Indian Culture and Historical Research.
