G. Bangla Bharathi

G. Bangla Bharathi, is currently working as Assistant Professor of English at BJR Government Degree College, Narayanguda, Hyderabad and has about 18 years of teaching experience in GDCs. She has been a Master Trainer and has trained newly recruited Lecturers of English in Communicative Language teaching and ELF methodologies sponsored by CCE (Dept. of Higher Education), Govt. of AP, TS and US Embassy. She has also trained about 250 school teachers of AP and TS in (2007) voice modulation, theatre and puppetry for effective classroom teaching. She was drafted as convenor of Soft skills component for revamped JKC curriculum of government Degree Colleges in 2012 and prepared material and worksheets for imparting soft skills. She has co-contributed for UG II year General English (2014) textbook and study material of M.A. (Eng Litt) - ELT paper for PRRCDE, Osmania University (2015). She has co-authored research articles on translations, American war fiction, Human Rights, Media and wormen, and is interested in multidisciplinary approach of Language teaching. Co-published a book on an anthology of selected Telugu short stories translated into English (2000). She is also associated with FM Radio, is a member of GHAC (Great Hyderabad Adventure Club), loves travelling, blogging, and of late is into Folk versions of Indian mythology.
