Dr. Govind Pratap Singh is presently employed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and holds the esteemed position of Associate Dean within the Faculty of Science at SRM University Sikkim, India. He
successfully completed his Ph.D. at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Subsequently, Dr. Singh pursued two Postdoctoral Studies, one at IIT Kanpur and the other at Wayne State University, USA. His primary research endeavors focus on asymmetric organic synthesis and its versatile applications. Known for his passion for organic chemistry, Dr. Singh excels in imparting knowledge, with a particular fondness for teaching the mechanistic aspects of organic chemistry using a molecular orbital approach.
