Sat P. Parashar is former Director, Indian Institute of Management, Indore, India. He is currently Adjunct Faculty at the Rady School of Management, University of California, San Diego, California, USA. His teaching, training, research and consulting experience spans over 40 years, across Asia, Middle East and North America. He has held senior academic positions including IFCI Golden Jubilee Chair Professor of Finance at Management Development Institute, Gurgaon; Head, Center for Banking, Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, Bahrain; Head of Research and Studies, Emirates Institute of Banking and Financial Studies. He has served on the Boards of a number of banks, corporations and academic institutions; and government committees and task forces. He earned Ph.D. (Finance) from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi. His teaching, training, research and consulting interests include Corporate Finance, Monetary Policy, Bank Management, Real Estate Investment, Business Valuation, Management Control Systems, Leadership and Business Repositioning.
