Dr. Shalaka Vaidya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, Hislop College, Nagpur. She has done her MA in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate in Psychology from RTM Nagpur University. Her papers have been published in various national journals. She has worked as a school counsellor and special educator in one of the reputed schools in Nagpur. She has a rich experience in teaching and counselling and strongly endorses the importance of Mental Health for all individuals and has designed modules for the development of emotional and social well-being of children at the school level.
