Prof. Shubha Agarwal Govil is working as a Lecturer since 2000, after qualifying the National Eligibility Test for Lectureship [NET]. She started her journey as a Lecturer in Department of Microbiology, Wilson College, Mumbai. Since 2005, she is working for Thakur College of Science and Commerce, Mumbai in the Department of Biotechnology. She did her post-graduation in Microbiology from University of Pune with distinction in 1997. She did corporate job for a while but passion for teaching brought her back to the field of her expertise. Writing a book was always an area that she wished to explore.
