Miss. Smita Singh is a PGDBA from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, specializing in Human Resource Management and Marketing. A NTSE (NCERT) and HRD Ministry scholarship holder, she has also qualified UP-SLET in Anthropology and is trained in vocal classical from Bhatkhande Sangeet Sansthan, Lucknow. She has been associated with academics for the past 3 years and is currently serving as Lecturer at Institute of Management Sciences, University of Lucknow. Ms Singh has over 8 years of rich industry experience and her current affiliation as a Human Resource Consultant continues with the Lucknow-based project centre of Johns Hopkins University of Public Health and Hygiene, which she earlier served for 4 years as Manager HR and Research Associate. There she pioneered the formulation and shaped the Human Resource policies of the Centre. Apart from this, she has conducted Professional Development Programmes for Gazetted Officers of Railway Police Force and Income Tax Office. Her association with reputed business schools / universities ranges from visiting faculty assignments to special lectures, paper setting and expert inputs. She has published several papers in journals and edited books at national level and has attended many seminars and conferences.
