Dr. Bhoopendra Nath Gupta “Ravi” born in a well cultured “Gupta” family of small village-Garhiya Rangeen of Dlst. Shahajahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He is greatly inspired by his father Late Shree Keshav Chandra (a great philosopher), his elder brother Late Shree Ravindra Nath Gupta (an entrepreneur) and his mother Smt. Krishna Devi. He did M.Com, MA in Economics, MBA, and Ph.D. on Indian Capital Market from M.J.P Rohilkhand University, Bareilly at the age of 29 years. Dr. “Ravi”, as a student: He is First in all school, college and University level. He set a record being only the student in his town passed 12th standard in the year of 1992 when a “Nakal Addhyadesh” was introduced by Hon. Rajnath Singh, the then Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh government and there were only 08% result of UP. Education Board. Dr Gupta, as an academician: Though he started his career as Marketing Executive in 1998 but due to his keen interest in teaching and learning he switched over from industrial career to academic in 1999 and joined HSS (PG) College, Shahajahanpur in 1999 and Springdale College of Management Studies, Pilibhit in 2000 (both are affiliated to M.J P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly) as Lecturer & Reader respectively and taught M.Com, MBA, B.Com, BBA and BCA Classes to the entire satisfaction of his superiors, subordinates, colleagues and students. For his outstanding record in teaching-learning and maintaining professional ethics he was awarded “Best Teacher Award” by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Lucknow in 2003. Dr Gupta, as an administrator: He contributed best efforts and energies in conducting various examinations as a “Controller of Examination” and also formulated effective plans and policies on the capacity of the ‘Chief Proctor* for ensuring discipline of the colleges and institutions he served in. He joined ‘Siddhant Institute of Business Management’, Pune (Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to University of Pune) as a Professor in 2005 but because of his caliber and capability of handling situations effectively, managing resources efficiently and ability to extract maximum from minimum he have shouldered responsibilities as Director- I/C of the institute for two years. He is also appointed as Hon. Regional Director for Pune by College of Management, Mumbai. (Affiliated to Vedanta University, Bhuwaneshwar, Orisa). He is life member of Indian Council of Management Executives, Mumbai. Dr Gupta, as an author and a writer: He published a reference book titled ‘Indian Capital Market-A decade of liberalization’ and is also publishing (shortly) a text book on ‘Entrepreneurship’ for higher education and professional courses like MBA, M.Com, M.A. (Eco), BBA, B.Com, and BA (Eco) offered by Indian Universities and Institutions. He is regularly publishing articles on the burning issues of the Nation and Society as a Senior Editor of a Nationwide Hindi Magazine “Parchhaien”. Dr “Ravi”, as an entrepreneur.
