The book has been written in a very simple language and in a lucid way. In Part I (Engineering Economy), mainly graphical approach has been followed. However, mathematical approach, wherever possible, has been retained for advanced students. In the appendices to some chapters, some problems and their solutions have been given. These will help the students to understand the subject. Unsolved problems with answers have also been given for the exercise of the students.
In Part II of the books (Financial Management), almost every topic has been clarified by examples. Many solved problems have been given in each chapter. At the end of the chapter, there are multiple choice questions, short-answer type questions, long-answer types and a number of unsolved problems with answers.
