Monetary history deals with the course of money, prices, interest rates, exchange rate, nominal and real incomes, related fiscal and other growth and development magnitudes. Developed countries undertake and sponsor special research studies to assemble data regarding above magnitudes over long periods and to analyse the same. This study deals comprehensive with the 19th century events and experiences of the then Indian sub-continent in the monetary and related areas. In the process, more than 200 time first volume of a research project, sponsored volume in process will cover the 20th British rule.
