We are happy to present the first edition of “Environmental Studies” written for students of UG courses. The purpose of this book is to provide an introduction to the various issues of environmental studies.
This book has five units. It covers topic, such as the multidisciplinary nature of environmental studies, natural resource, forest recourses, water resource, mineral resource, food resource, energy resources, land resource, ecosystems, biodiversity, environmental pollution, social issues and the environment, human population and the environment. The book presents the material with clarity and conciseness to enable students to read and study with diagram. Review questions at the end of units should be useful for both students and teachers.
