Bharatkumar R. Shah is a retired professor from Shree M.P. Shah, Municipal College of Commerce, Jamnagar of Saurashtra University. He has 34 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level, viz., B.Com. and M.Com. level. Besides teaching work, he has guided many students for their doctoral degree. He has presented number of research papers at National and State level annual conferences like IEA, ISLE and GEA. The author is the life member of Indian Economics Association, Indian Society of Labour Economics, The Indian Econometrics Society and Gujarat Economics Association. He has presented and/or published more than 100 (one hundred) research papers in conference volumes of national level and state level association. Various academic positions are held by author like Chairman, Board of Studies in Banking, Cotton and Transport, Member: Commerce faculty, Research Degree Committee (RDC) of Saurashtra University, Rajkot Chairman or Co-Chairman in various technical sessions of National and State level conference, Ex-Executive member of ISLA and GEA, etc. Moreover, he was Keynote Paper Presenter/Speaker at Gujarat Economic Associations Conference at Rajkot (year 1993) and addressed Keynote Paper at Shree R.R. Lalan College, Bhuj-Kachchh University, Bhuj (year 2019). His areas of specialization are Labour Economics, Planning and Growth, and Banking.
