Dr. B. Rameshpandian is working as an Assistant Professor of Physical Education in the S. S. Duraisamy Nadar Mariammal College, Kovilpatti. He did his B.Sc., Physical Education, Health Education and Sports in the Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi and B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed. and Ph.D., in Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. His areas of specialisation are Tennis, Weight Lifting and Power Lifting. He represented the Madurai Kamaraj University Inter-collegiate Tennis Tournament and secured first place in the year 2010–2011. He secured second place in Power Lifting, third place in Hammer Throw and third place in Weight Lifting in the Bharathiar University Inter- collegiate competitions held in the year 2011–2012. He has attended many National level and International level seminars, conferences, workshops and symposia and presented papers in them. He has published many research articles in the National level and International level research journals. His students, Mr. S. Karthick represented the Indian Hockey team in the Asia Cup 2022 and Mr. M. Srinivasan and Mr. B. Sathish represented the Indian Junior Hockey team in the year 2023.
