Dr. Bhagaban Das is presently working as a Senior Reader in the area of Accounting and Finance and Co-ordinator EMBA Progarmme at the Department of Business Management, Fakir Mohan University, Orissa, India. A national scholarship awardee all through his student career, Dr. Das stood second both in M.Com. (Utkal University) and OES Examination conducted by OPSC. With a teaching experience of almost three decades, Dr. Das has published more than two dozens of research papers in various referred journals in India and outside. In addition to authoring eight books in the broad area of Finance, Salesmanship and Accounting, he had edited a book on Mergers and Acquisitions in Indian scenario. Six scholars have already been awarded Ph.D. under his able guidance and eight more are working at present. His teaching interest includes Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Financial Market Services.
