Dr. Dattajirao Yashwantrao Patil is MBA, Ph.D., from Pune University. After having worked with industry for some time he joined Bharati Vidyapeeth as faculty in Management Currently, he is the Director of Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management Studies & Research, Nevi Mumbai for last sixteen years. Nine students have obtained Ph.D. degree under his guidance and six others are pursuing their Ph.D. He has published many research papers in National and International Journals. He is Editor-in-Chief of the BVIMSR`s Journal of Management Research. He is a Member of Senate and Management Council in the University of Mumbai; Treasurer of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS); Member of Management Council - Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune and Secretary, Forum of Management Institutions University of Mumbai. He has also worked as Member of Research and ecommendation Committee, as a Research Expert, and Member of Adhoc Board of Studies in Management, University of Mumbai. He has been bestowed with various awards and citations like Jewel of Nevi Mumbai, by Indian Merchant Chamber; Rastriya Vidya Gaurav Gold Medal Award from International; Institute of Education & Management, New Delhi; Jewel of India Award by Indian Solidarity Council, New Delhi and Glory of India Award by Indo-British Friendship Banquet, London. He is engaged in social activities through Rotary movement.
