Dr. I. Satya Sundaram (b. 1946) is an economist, author, a freelance writer and reviewer. He has so far contributed around three thousand articles on issues, economic educational and social to national level newspapers and journals. He has reviewed around 500 books. His areas of specialisation are: Agriculture and Rural Development. He has written some important books on Rural Development including Microfinance in India (2007). He is the winner of Telugu Academy Prize for his book on Integrated Rural Development (in Telugu).
