Dr. Ram Kishen. Y (popularly known as RAMKI) has completed his MBA from GITAM University, Visakhapatnam as topper in Marketing amongst the 50 MBA Institutes affiliated with Andhra University. He has 15 years of work experience in Corporates and worked in Sales, Marketing, Branding and Advertising domains—Mahindra Holidays, Tata Communications and Lowe Lintas Advertising Agency, and has launched almost 25 brands in both Urban and Rural markets like Lifebuoy, Wheel, Lux, Bajaj Caliber, Amul, ITC Savlon etc. He has 25 years of academic experience and has served in Vivekanand Education Society, Jai Hind College, IES Management College and is presently working as Professor & Case Research Centre member in Marketing at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management (ranked 17th in Indian B-Schools) which is a constituent institution under Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai. He has 4 textbooks on Rural Marketing, Retail Marketing Strategies, Management of Cooperatives and Strategic Brand Management to his credit. He is an Academic Member of the Case Centre at UK & Richard IVEY Case Centre, Canada. He has written 20 research papers and published a lot of Case Studies. 5 of his case studies have been accepted in Harvard University Case Publishing. He is a certified Business Consultant from AIMA, New Delhi. He has won 2 Awards as Best Marketing Faculty in 2018 and 2023.
