Dr. Raman Sureshkumar, M.Pharm., Ph.D., is a faculty member in the Department of Pharmaceutics and the Centre for Nano Engineering Science & Technology (C-NEST), JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty–643001, India. He has more than 30 years of academic experience and expertise in lipid-based nanoemulsions for solubility and bioavailability enhancement and aptamer-based targeted drug delivery for cancer management. He has successfully guided 8 Ph.D. scholars and is currently guiding 5 Ph.D. scholars. He has published 65 research papers, with 966 citations, an H-index of 18, and an i10-index of 27. His intellectual property portfolio includes 2 awarded patents, 3 patents under FER, and 1 filed patent. He has served as a Visiting Professor at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA), Kazakhstan, and as a Board of Studies (BoS) member in the Department of Polymer Science & Technology, SJCE, JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU), Mysuru. He is also a Brand Ambassador for Bentham Science Publications and serves as a reviewer for leading indexed journals published by Elsevier, Springer Nature, and Taylor & Francis. He has organised several seminars, conferences, and workshops with financial support from reputed funding agencies such as ICMR and CSIR. His current research focuses on the development of aptamer–drug conjugates for the management of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), colon carcinoma, and ER-positive (ER+) breast cancer.
