Dr. Ratani Thakur is currently serving as Principal of Oriental College of Education, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai - an affiliate of University of Mumbai. She has an extended career of 37 years. Out which, she have had eight glorious years of teaching at school level and 29 decorated years of teaching at college level. She has been serving the position of principal from last 11 years at different colleges of education. Her education qualification account is credited with Ph.D. (Education), L.L.B., M.A. (History), M.A. (Hindi), M.Ed. Other than these academic ornaments, she has also groomed her personality by earning Diploma in Therapy in Yoga, Diploma in Reike. Her number of publications has gone beyond 22 in different reputed national and international journals. She has guided 33 M.Ed. dissertation and 3 Ph.D. thesis. Apart from her academic duties she also gives back to society by contributing her expertise and tireless efforts to NGOs working for women empowerment and autonomy.
