Dr. S.R. Pandya is currently working as a Reader in Education at the Department of Education, SNDT Women`s Universtiy, Mumbai since 1996. She has obtained her B.Sc. in Sociology and P.G.Diploma in Education Management from SNDT Women`s University. Her doctoral degree was in the area of School Effectiveness. She has over 10 years of experience of teaching at the post-graduate level including the subject of Management of Education. She has conducted several independent researches in the area of Management of Education. She has successfully guided and is currently guiding several doctoral researches in the area of Management of Education, Teacher Education and Sociology of Education. Dr. Pandya has about 20 empirical and conceptual papers to her credit published in various journals on education. She is a life member of Council of Teacher Education as well as Indian Association of Teacher Educators.
