Dr. Sisir Kumar Bhattacharyya has got a long-drawn resourceful experience to his credit as a teacher in Accounting, Business Finance and Marketing for professional association with Sonarpur College, Rishi Bankim Chandra College and Hooghly Mohsin College as a senior faculty. For sometime, he had joined the Institute for Financial Management and Research, Chennai, a premier Institute in India for studying and carrying out research, as a faculty member. His association with International Institute of Management Sciences, Kolkata and Indira Gandhi National Open University as a faculty member since 1986 and 1991 respectively has enriched him with valuable experience in teaching Business Finance and Marketing.
Finally, he was the Principal of International Institute of Management Sciences, Kolkata. Presently, the author is the Emeritus Professor of the said Institute. The author has a considerable number of contributions of research standard to different leading journals of India. Moreover, he had the opportunity of attending different International seminars and presenting papers as held in different countries of the world.
He also had publications entitled Management Accounting with S. Chand & Co. Ltd. New Delhi, Capital Structure of the Indian Jute Industry, with Kitab Mahal, Allahabad and Marketing Management with National Publishing House, Jaipur and New Delhi.
