Dr. Sumita Shankar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce of the NSS College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai. She is a Ph.D. Guide for the University of Mumbai under business policy and has guided over 10 M.Phil. students. She has over 22 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and 15 years of postgraduate teaching experience. She has to her credit an MBA in Banking and an MSW (Master in Social Work). She has also completed two minor research projects with a grant from UGC—University of Mumbai. She is enthusiastic about helping students boost their employability by harnessing their social media proficiency, entrepreneurial skills, and research abilities.
