Dr. Supran Kumar Sharma, Associate Professor, School of Business, Faculty of Management, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu & Kashmir (India), has vast experience in teaching and research for more than 15 years and has completed his Post Graduation, M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (India). He has credited one book and more than 45 research papers in various national and international journals of repute. His areas of interest include Efficiency and Productivity Measurement, Project Management, Entrepreneurship Management and Applied Econometrics. He has completed six major research projects under the sponsorship of AICTE, ICSSR, UGC, New Delhi and State Electricity Regulatory Commission, J&K. Dr. Sharma is a constant learner in the field of statistical and econometric softwares like SPSS, E-Views, STATA, MINITAB, etc. and has conducted FDPs, MDPs and training sessions for faculty members, corporate executives, students and government sector officers in the different fields of General Management and Applied Economics. His professional memberships include the Indian Econometric Society and Indian Economic Association, IARNIW, etc. A number of scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degree under his guidance.
