Dr. Venkatesh D. P., Professor and HOD, Dept. of Pharmaceutics at Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru, completed his B.Pharm. from the National College of Pharmacy, Shimoga, Karnataka. His M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) degree was completed at Nitte Gulabi Shetty Memorial Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mangalore; he received his Ph.D. from JNTU, Hyderabad, Telangana. He has 20 years of teaching and academic research experience. He has published 53 research/review articles and holds one granted patent, 18 published patents, and 2 design patents. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, has recognised him as a PG and Ph.D. guide. He supervised 30 PG students and 1 Ph.D. student, and he also co-guiding 3 Ph.D. students. He has published 3 pharmaceutics textbooks & 2 book chapters. He has received RGUHS research grants and a SERB seminar grant.
