Nisha Buty

Mrs. Nisha Buty is a housewife who took to research as she felt it would be a systematic way of serious reading and knowledge for its own sake. Walter Pater: “Critic of Art and Literature” is her first effort. In order to understand the working s of a man’s mind, she turned to psychology and wrote two books; “The Stream of Consciousness in Browning‘s Cordell’” and “The Epic in Browning, ‘The ring and the Book’.” Currently, she is working on “Aesthetics and Literature.” Daughter of the late Brig and Mrs. K.S. Moghe, she was schooled in St.Joseph’s Convent, Panchagani, where she also did grade examinations of the Trinity College of Music, London. She did her inter-arts from Loretto College, Calcutta and her B.A. from L.A.D. College, Nagpur University.
