Prof. J.C. Sharma, born in the year 1941, holds M.Sc. degree in Statistics and M.Phil. degree in Social Sciences. He has worked at University of Rajasthan, Jaipur (1965-1970 as Research Assistant), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai (1970-1994 as Lecturer, Reader and Professor), Institute of Technology and Management, Nevi Mumbai (1994-1997 as Professor) and Bharati Vidyapeeth`s Institute of Management Studies and Research, Nevi Mumbai (2005-2011 as Professor). He has also worked as a United Nations Consultant (1979) posted at the Economic Commission for Africa. He specializes in Statistics and Research Methodology. He has published many research papers and has conducted more than thirty research projects sponsored by ILO, World Bank, UNICEF, Government of India, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, Aga Khan Education Services, Commission for European Community and many other organizations. He has worked as Consultant to many research projects. He is also member of Ethical Committees. He has been conducting (since 1980) training programmes in statistical data analysis using SPSS package at several Institutions. He is also Executive editor of the BVIMSR`s Journal of Management Research.
